SAM'S CLUB AND MARS CANDY DONATE SUPERFAN CONCESSIONS STANDS
CedarShed has been a valued vendor for Sams Club since 2006. In 2007, CedarShed was approached by Sams Club to partner up with Mars Candy and the Little League Association of America to design and build concession stands to be erected at Little League ballparks throughout North America. These concession stands have now been expanded to include the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
The concession stands allows these clubs to raise money by selling soda, candy bars, hot dogs, and other snacks. Since it’s inception, CedarShed has built just under 100 of these units. We are proud of our association with this worthy project.

FLINT, MICHIGAN POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE GETS HELP RAISING FUNDS WITH
SUPERFAN CONCESSION STAND
The Flint Journal Jesse Carpenter, Director of the Flint Police Activities League, checks out the new concession stand from inside being built by New Paths members and builders from Mars [Candy] North America on Tuesday at the Haskell Community Center in Flint. The eight foot by eight foot "SuperFan Concession Stand" was donated by Sam's Club and SNICKERS with a gift card to Sam's Club to stock the concession stand for the first time.
The stand will be used to help raise funds year-round for educational programs, field trips, and athletic uniforms. The League is one of 25 organizations, the only in Michigan, selected to participate in the SuperFan outreach program this year.
SUPERFAN CONCESSIONS STAND DONATED TO BOOSTER CLUB FOUNDATION IN
ALBURNETTE, IOWA
The Superfan Concession Stand program is a community relations effort sponsored jointly by Mars Candy and Sam’s Club in which Sam’s Club donates and builds approximately 20 concession stands for youth organizations per year nationally. This is the fifth year of the program.
The Alburnett Sports Booster Club and the Alburnett Community School District Foundation were chosen as a 2010 recipient. Eight Sam’s Club employee volunteers constructed our 8’ x 8’ concession stand on Tuesday, June 8th. This stand will serve our needs well for youth activities at the Martin Complex until funds can be raised to construct a permanent concession stand/restroom and storage building.
